GI Joe Resolute 7-Packs up for Pre-order

Now why couldn't I ever find stuff like this when I was a kid? It was always the nonsense about having to "collect them all" or "figures sold separately." "Man, frick that noise", I would say, presumably in a higher pitched voice, "I want the whole set and I want it today!"

Well, G.I. Joe fans, and particularly fans of the anime/film teaser G.I. Joe Resolute, you have reason to rejoice today. Big Bad Toy Store has just put up pre-orders for 7-pack box sets containing all of the main Joes and Cobras so you can get a silly little thing like the actual act of collecting out of the way. The Joe Box set includes  Flint, Duke, Snake Eyes, Beachhead, Stalker, Scarlett and Gung Ho while the Cobra set contains the evil that is The Baroness, an Alley Viper, Destro, Zartan, Storm Shadow, Firefly and the illustrious Cobra Commander. 

You can put your pre-order in here you can even order both sets together as a package deal. Again, I wish I could have done this as a kid, then I'd be the coolest kid on the block because I'd basically have all the main characters from the show without having to collect tripe like Lift Ticket and Tunnel Rat that my parents bought me because they didn't know better. No, now that you ask, I am not bitter about my childhood, why?

Meh, wouldn't mind getting the Cobra pack but still not something I'd go out of my way for. Tough to get a good look at the figures with those photos.

Awesome. I just wish they'd gotten a more accurate Snake Eyes. Still, looks pretty fantastic.

The cobra pack looks pretty sweet. I like the modern ghetto ninja storm shadow (hoody, mask, sleeveless combo), baking skirt destro, and spring fling dress Cobra Commander. Zartan's brown isn't in style yet, so backburner that figure for the future.
