Yotsuba&! is one of those titles, like many others, that I have been needing to check out. Especially since it has been used a many of times by the anime community. Speaking of many times, how many times can Kaiyodo release products of title character Yotsuba and the "robot" Danbo? Plenty because these two are just adorable!

Kaiyodo is now sizing things up a bit for these two characters. Danbo is being released as an over 14 inches tall collectible. How is Kaiyodo getting away with a Danbo of this size? Simple! This version is made from actual cardboard and is a kit that you can assemble. Along with poseable arms and head, you can't get any swankier than that.

Yotsuba has also been enlarged but won't be as poseable as Danbo or other figures of her. In fact, she won't be poseable at all. Kaiyodo will be releasing the Big Size Yotsuba Soft Vinyl Figure (yes, "Big Size"), which has a static Yotsuba standing at about 9 inches tall with her trademark smile.

Both of these collectibles are retailing for ¥2,800 and are set to come out in December of this year. So, big size cardboard Danbo. Tempting? And will you have Yotsuba joining? Or will you use one of the smaller Yotsuba figures to have yourself a super giant mecha-like sized Danbo?
