G.E.M. series Hijikata Toushirou gets a second look

You won't be able to resist Mayora 13 this time around

Recently MegaHouse opened pre-orders for a familiar face in their G.E.M. series, and if you’re a Gintama fan as I am, you’re probably over the moon with the addition. Making a second appearance in the popular line of figures is none other than the vice-commander of the Shinsengumi, Hijikata Toushirou.

The 1/8 sculpt will feature Toshi casually posed with his uniform top draped over his shoulders as he holds a cigarette in his right hand, which you may switch out in favor of his trademark bottle of mayonnaise. However, if you prefer to see Hijikata living up to his "demonic vice-commander" moniker, you may also pose him with his sword drawn. I must say I am quite enamored with this revised version. From his casual pose to the accessories, everything is spot on! Honestly, who wouldn't be captivated by those piercing blue eyes?

The mayonnaise obsessed commander is set to release this September and will retail for ¥7,800.
