Freak Store's Fonzo coming to New York City

Will be star of custom show at myplasticheart on Jan. 11

The folks at Freak Store have just sent along the full news about their upcoming show at myplasticheart, Fonzo Love NY. As you might have guessed, the show is a custom exhibition of Freak Store's Fonzo character, and I believe it marks the first time they've had a Fonzo group show in the U.S., as the last one was at Freak Store's shop in Caracas, Venezuela.

So who's confirmed for the event? The artist list includes: 64Colors, Artmymind, Andrew Bell, Ardabus Rubber, Aya Kakeda, Alisa Ross, Beast Brothers, Burundanga Design, Brandt Peters, Chuckboy, Camila D'Errico, Charles Rodriguez, David Cook, Dave Pressler, DoubleParlour, Fuller Designs, Fonzo designer Gary Ham, Greg Mike, Grimsheep, Gabriel Carpio, Hydro74, Ian Ziobrowski, Jeff Lamm, Jermaine Rogers, Jeremiah Ketner, Kathie Olivas, Kano, Martin Hsu, Nakanari, Rsin, Scribe, Southerndrawl, Scott Tolleson, and Thomas Han. Not a bad line-up, and we should see some fun designs given the list.

If you want to check it out for yourself, Fonzo Love NY is opening Jan. 11 at myplasticheart (210 Forsyth St., Lower East Side, Manhattan, New York), probably opening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern as most MPH shows do.
