Miles "Tails" Prower, that two-tailed fox from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, is soon to be immortalized in his own pair of statues by First 4 Figures. The two statues, Tails Regular and Tails Exclusive, both depict Sonic's brainy sidekick propelling through the mushroom-filled fields of the Mushroom Zone. Both of Tails' signature tails are captured in a dynamic pose, giving the illusion that Tails is in mid-flight. There is even a little dust cloud left in his wake! Both statues are 12 inches tall (in proportion to the other Sonic statues made by First 4 Figures) and come in full color packaging, along with a hand-numbered base and certificate of authenticity.

So, what is the difference between the Regular and Exclusive editions? In the Exclusive edition, the three mushrooms at the base light up and slowly change color. It looks like a really nice effect. There are only 500 pieces of the Exclusive Tails statue available, priced at US$199.99. The Regular Tails statue is limited to 1500 pieces worldwide and costs US$179.99. Both statues will be available in the third quarter of 2012.
