Finally, our first good look at the newest figma Link

He looks happy to finally be here

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is without a doubt my favorite Zelda game and certainly one of my favorite SNES games (somewhere alongside Chrono Trigger and Super Metroid). While I haven't played its 3DS sequel A Link Between Worlds (or Triforce of the Gods 2 in Japan) yet that isn't going to stop me from snapping up that game's pointy-eared protagonist figma that was finally revealed at this past weekend's Good Smile Company and Max Factory new figure road show!

While details remain scarce and we're nearing two years since it was first announced back at the February Wonder Festival 2014 Winter we should be learning a lot more soon. I would imagine he'll come with a section of stone wall with a 2D merging link on it, but Good Smile Company and Max Factory have made some odd choices lately so maybe that's asking too much? Either way Link looks super happy to finally be coming out and that makes me happy, too!
