Figure Maniac exclusive garage kit of Rei has fingers of death

When I first saw this garage kit of Rei from Evangelion sporting her uber cute cat ears, my first thought was "Yum!". That was before fellow Tomopop editor Brad Rice popped in and said "Hey, what's up with her hands?" I took one look and "Wow!" turned to ""Ugh!". What's up with the spider leg fingers there, Rei?

Anyway, this garage kit is a special edition item you can only get through a mail order deal with Japanese hobby mag Figure Maniacs. It's a colored kit, so you do not have to paint it, and it will sell for 11,300 yen when it comes out next month. Definitely pricey, but apparently a PVC one is on the way, so you can wait for that if you like (I suspect it will be cheaper). Then you can find out what Rei can really do with those spooky fingers.
