Felt Mistress assembles Avatar's Momo for upcoming show

5:30 PM on 02.17.2015 // Brian Szabelski

Will be part of Gallery Nucleus' March 7 show

Gallery Nucleus is playing host to an impressive looking Avatar: The Last Airbender tribute show next month, and Felt Mistress has just revealed her piece for the event. She's made a plush -- of course -- of Momo and the Moon Peach along with a few work-in-progress shots. Her felted style makes Momo look slightly more adorable than his animated counterpart, but he's otherwise exactly as you'd expect, right down to the striping on his ears and tail.

The show opens March 7 at Gallery Nucleus (210 E. Main St., Alhambra, California) with Avatar's creators and staff members in attendance. They're also encouraging folks to show up in cosplay and releasing some of Dark Horse's Avatar merchandise for the first time during the show's opening. More details can be found here.
