Fate/stay night's Saber is ready with her die cast armorWe've seen the many incarnations of Saber from the Fate series from PVC figures to plastic model kits to everything else under the sun including poseable figures. However, not many can make a claim that her armor is made more appropriate using something like a die cast process. Bandai is looking to win you over with their 140 mm tall poseable Saber from Fate/stay night now that she is a part of their Chogokin line. Using this "super alloy", Saber is now equipped with die cast armor definitely making for a far more interesting poseable figure. Just looking at the pictures and seeing the finish on the armor has me wanting to toss my figma version away. She even includes the same waving hair you find with Max Factory's release. Three additional faces are also available along with three variations of Excalibur, Avalon, some snazzy effect parts, and a pedestal. Why!? Just because! Bandai's Chogokin Saber is retailing for ¥7,500 and will be available in February, 2013. From the pictures, it looks like one snazzy figure to own. Are you swayed by the die cast armor of Bandai's Saber or are you fine with any of your currently owned Saber figures? [ Pre-order at Hobby Search | AmiAmi | CD Japan ] Did you know?
