Evangelion fans, admire this VTOL model kit

Evangelion has had some iconic mecha designs, but NERV's VTOL aircraft is probably one of the less celebrated ones. Certainly it's not as famous as, say, Eva-01. Still it's an omnipresent vehicle in the franchise, so Kotobukiya decided to make a model kit for it.

I've always liked the futuristic, utilitarian look of these vehicles. They look totally plausible as far as sci-fi aircraft go. This kit will come with a number of decals to recreate all those little rivets and bits of text. It will also come with optional landing gear parts and articulated engines to give you some flexibility while displaying it.

The kit will be out in April for ¥4,725.
