If you were reading Tomopop during the middle of July, you may have seen Brian's post regarding Erick Scarecrow's Nathan Drake finally going up for pre-order after two years of anticipation. If you were also paying attention during the beginning of August, Brian updated us with a shot of the prototype, which looked pretty good. I now get to bring you a partial shot of the final Drake, though we only get a quick shot of Nathan's eyes and the front of his spiky hair. It's a tiny tease of a shot, but Erick promises more info soon. As per the vinyl Nathan Drake tradition, keep an eye out here for more info as soon as it hits our mailbox.
If you're digging Drake, hit up ESC's pre-order page. You can get the 7" OG Drake or the Naughty Dog Colorway for US$49.99 a pop. Both Drake's come with special DLC codes for the eventual release of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Included in the gallery are the previous photos, just in case you forgot what they looked like.
I at first though that little Drake here was a bit expensive for his price, but then I saw that the final piece is 7" tall and there's a small bit of articulation. Add in the fact that each version will only have a run of 500 figures, and I think the price is a bit more fair. What do you guys think?
