The patron dragon of sitting.

Fans of giant, dorky dragons will soon have the opportunity to add Granamyr to their collection as this 23-inch tall dragon is part of Matty Collector's December 17th sale.

Granamyr, first unveiled at SDCC 2012, will hold the record for the largest figure in the Masters of the Universe Classics line. While the character is unable to maintain his full height on his own (given those scrawny chicken legs), even seated he's taller than over-sized figures like Tytus.

Granamyr was a seldom-seen character in the original He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He was among the oldest, wisest, and most powerful of dragons (who were old and powerful themselves). Granamyr's appearances usually involved testing the characters in some way, presumably because the character was so powerful that they couldn't really do anything else with him.

I don't recall Granamyr getting a figure in the original line, which would make this release doubly special. Granamyr will be available for US$80 on 12/17. Although I barely remember Granamyr, I'm still strongly tempted to pick this on up on the design alone.
