DO WANT: August 2010 Edition

Summer's just about over, sadly. The kids are going back to school, college is getting back into session, and all those pre-orders you made several months ago are now being filled. But while Dragon*Con and Pax Prime aren't quite here yet to tease us with all kinds of new things, there's still plenty that came out in August to drool over. And so, we present to you, the Tomopop reader, the things we wanted most for this past month.

I want her BAD. I'm so in love with this entire line.

Jonathan Tubbs wants Volks' Little Sister Dollfie Dream

Little sister Dollfie Dream from Volks!? They must know I just received a doll! Alna is lonely and needs a buddy! Volks, announce one ASAP that's just as beautiful as her! ... um... I mean... uh... It would be splendid to have an additional doll to accompany Alna so she is not outweighed by my wider selection of static PVC figures.

Brian Szabelski wants Medicom's RAH Boba Fett

I've avoided buying a Medicom RAH up to this point. I may not be able to resist any longer.

Leah Bayer and Rio McCarthy want Alter's Dizzy figure

Leah: I think my original post title sums it up well. I NEED this in my life. Preferably by, like, tomorrow.

Rio: Two words. Alter's. Dizzy. I want this so badly I can't stand it! The only way I could want it more is if I got a sexy Testament to go with it, but that's neither here nor there. I wanted it badly enough before the color, but after seeing it now I absolutely NEED to have this in my collection!

Andres Cerrato wants Revoltech Lupin and Jigen

It's a crime to want anything less than Revoltech Lupin and Jigen. I'll have to wait for October and November for them both, but I don't think I could possibly have more fun with another toy.

Anthony DePasquale wants the Love Machine Figma

God damn, Love Machine is the best looking Figma since Duke Togo. I love Summer Wars so if I'm going to buy King Kazuma I'm going to need his foe Love Machine. His accessories are awesome with "The Keyring to the Internet" and his giant glowing Amaterasu-like ring. He looks cool, acts cool and is just an amazing figma all around. I want him and you should to.

Stephen Donaldson wants the Dead Master Nendoroid

Dead Master looks so adorbz and detailed. I need this in my life to go with all of my Black Rock Shooter Nendoroids that're on their way so that I can have them fighting/chilling/and bummed out all together in my giant displays of Black Rock Shooter figures.

Chris Hansbrough wants DC Direct's Covergirls of the DC Universe Armored Wonder Woman

I have to go with the armored Wonder Woman ... because its wonder woman. Seriously....I'm ridiculously gay for Wonder Woman merchandise ... and wang sometimes ... but mostly Wonder Woman.

Joshua Hayes wants NECA's S-Mart Ash figure

Hail to the king, baby! This month, I've decided that Bruce Campbell from Army of Darkness needs to be sitting with the rest of my toys on top the TV. I'm leaning towards is the S-Mart NECA 7" figure. There is nothing as satisfying as the S-mart ending of that movie. Beyond any other reason other than just the fact that he says "Hail to the king, baby!" before making out with some lady he just saves makes me giggle and cheer. This figure pretty accurately captures his look from that ending, and I want it. I've had my eye on it for a bit and this month is the month to pick it up. Looking at this figure will make me smile.

Scott Kremer wants Alter's Houmei figure

Despite not having seen the color sample yet, I'm going to have to go with Alter's Houmei. As Alter's Clalaclan has proven, Alter + Shining Wind is a match made in heaven. Thank God she doesn't come out until 2011, though; this holiday season will be expensive enough as it is!

Chris Seto wants Volks' Bayonetta figure

After looking at the pics over and over again, I have to admit that she's really grown on me and the details make it look like she'll be a lot of fun to paint. I've also started playing the game again and I've fallen in love with the character for a second time so I'm putting her up for my DO WANT for the month. Price be damned!

In fact, I just recently (as in just a few minutes ago) chatted to Tokyo Hunter and got a request through to try and get all 3 kits I wanted at Chara Hobby this weekend!! So with any luck, by the time this feature comes out, my DO WANT could end up being a HAVE GOT!! Wee!!
