I kind of like these in a way. Most action figures looked like this in the 80's. Which is to say: terrible. My gut feeling is that that they did it as a stylistic choice. Still, 50 bucks is a little far to take that joke.

Oh Dive, why do you do these things to me? I got your Michael Jackson keychains, which are fantastic and will be reviewed in the near future, then you go and do more things that are not so nice - like these figures. Due to release at the end of January, these two Thriller figures will be ready to come to your home... if you dare.
While they are huge, as they measure in at 9.8 inches tall, I just can't justify paying over $50 for something that looks like this, especially when I'll have my Hot Toys Thriller figure on the way before long. While the normal Michael face is at least slightly charming, there's just something horribly weird to me about these figures. If for some reason you'd like to pre-order these though, you can get the zombie version or werewolf version through Otacute.
