Disney Cutesations get darker with new Villains SeriesPerhaps in keeping with the villain theme set by Disney's new Villains Designer Collection dolls, more baddies are getting their turn in the spotlight with a new wave of Disney Cutesations blind boxed plushes. You may remember previous Cutesations series centering around Alice in Wonderland and the Toy Story series of films. Just like the previous sets, you can either take your chances and purchase a blind box (US$6.50) or make sure you get the whole collection by buying the plush set of 8 with an included stand (US$79.50). Whether you think the set is worth the cash or not depends on whether not you are smitten with the characters or want to ensure you get a specific one. The characters in this series are Cruella de Vil (101 Dalmations), Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty), Captain Hook (Peter Pan), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Jafar (Aladdin), Hades, (Hercules), Dr. Facilier (The Princess and the Frog), and the Evil Queen as the Hag (Snow White). Personally, I think the designs are more hit-and-miss in this series than the previous ones. I guess when trying to fit sinister and cute into a 5 inch plush, there is only so much you can do. Also, Cruella has a pig nose. What do you think, Tomoreaders? Are there any of these villains that you are just dying to have? Did you know?
