Disney characters go Star Wars for new Disney Parks merch

Feb 27 // Natalie Kipper    @PoogieNya

I love visiting the Disney Parks and I am not ashamed to admit that one of the highlights for me is checking out all of the imaginative merchandise available for purchase. Set to arrive this March are the big thing for fans of the Star Wars-themed ride, Star Tours: new action figures of Disney characters cosplaying as creatures and people from the Star Wars universe. Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, are Jawas. Stitch is General Grievous. Donald Duck is the Clone Trooper, Commander Cody. Goofy is Cad Bane the bounty hunter. And, Daisy Duck is Aurra Sing. All and all, and impressive arrangement. If memory serves, there is another batch of Star Wars/ Disney action figures available at the parks. But, they are based on the fourth, fifth, and six movies in the storyline (starting with A New Hope).

These figures are only available at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. They will not be found at the Disney Parks online store. However, those without travel plans can order them (in March) by calling the Merchandise Services at 1-877-560-6477 or emailing merchandiseguestservices@disney.go.com
