Dimension Diver's Persona garage kits will make your jaw drop photo

I've been thinking it over, and I've come to the conclusion that the constant pleas from Tomopop editors and readers have been heard. Case in point: a few days ago, we were thrilled with the announcement of a Figma version of Persona 3's Aegis. It's barely been 48 hours, and now we have Tokyo Hunter opening orders for not one but two Persona garage kits, another Aegis and a Metis as well.

These kits were first shown off at Hobby Complex GK this year and were created by Dimension Diver. The last run of these kits will be sold at Summer Wonder Fest, and if you want one and happen to have 12,000 yen handy (or 24,000 for the two of em), you can get your hands on these. However, they do require paint and assembly, so please be aware of that if you do choose to pick them up.

I don't want to hope for too much, but hey guys, can we get some more Persona figures over here? I'm enjoying this.

[Thanks, Ben and Stella!]

I prefer Cerberus Project's Aigis over Dimension Driver's but it doesn't really matter; they're both really expensive. I wouldn't spend that kind of money on something that still required a lot of work on my part, but I guess if I made these things myself, I'd want a nice profit from them. Too bad Figma's cutting into their territory now.

Speaking of Figma, Hobby Search and HLJ started taking preorders, so get 'er while you can!
I find the dimension driver joints are a bit too big but looking at a few sites, it seems that the joints aren't included in the purchase. You need to go out and get them yourself!!

At least the liquidstone ones gave you the joints as well!!!
Well, I think you should just be happy their legs are at the right size - Dimension Driver seems to love huuuge legs.

I like Dimension Driver's kits and I would looove getting their Rockman kit - but it's a little bit too expensive for me unfortunatelly...

Ah, Colette, I think the resin is pre-tinted, so painting isn't reaaaally required.
@Fychan- Yea, their legs are usuall gigantic. Their Roll gives Chun Li a run for her money!
Dimension Diver seems to make a lot excellent non-human sculpts that work the joints into the size of the limbs well (humans have the weird bulge at the back of the legs), though that Figma Aegis is lithe and elegantly slim. I'm pretty sure the customizable joints is to allow the type of collector who buys these to potentially assemble their own from varying sizes, chopping or adding, and painting, as they prefer (similar to most Gundam builders).

I think you can see with Samus the difference betwen painted and unpainted.
