A robot that turns into a laptop that is also a USB hub? SOLD.
The oft-rumored-as-canceled Device Label Broad Blast (aka Blaster) finally has a release date in Japan on the 24th July, 2010. As a companion piece to the Device Label Tigatron, Cheetor and Ravage figures (which all transform into working USB thumb drives), Device label Blaster transforms into a working USB hub, with four ports for drives, printers, what have you.
Sure, it's a little cop-outy to make him just a hub, all the device does it split your USB signal, but personally I find that a lot more useable than if they had just made him, say, light up, or say funny phrases when people come close haha, yeah cause that will never become annoying, right? Hey, as somebody who runs three cameras, a phone, an mp3 player, a card reader, two controllers, two microphones and a mouse off of USB, I say hubs are useful and this one will at least show off my oh-so-hard-to-miss Transformers obsession.
