DesignerCon 2012: Galaxy Monkey and Vanessa Ramirez

6:30 PM on 11.08.2012 // Brian Szabelski

Space monkeys and mustached potatoes? Yep, you'll find them in this post

Galaxy Monkeys arrived at DesignerCon with a few angry-looking sofubi monekys in spacesuits. The colored Monkeynaut was a DCon exclusive piece, but they also had limited numbers of the black and glow-in-the-dark version available. Also at the booth was the early prototype of Jenna Anonelli's Fluff Fin. Yes, it's half-bunny, half-fish. It's not quite ready for sale but we should be seeing it in the future.

The other half of the booth was home to Vanessa Ramirez's wares, which included several little custom characters she'd created. There's the bow-tied Potato Baby and his Tater Tot Minions (in two versions), Percival the Polywog, Maurice the Monstersaur, and the Monsties.
