The amount of awesome adorableness that was emanating from Jupey Krusho's booth at this month's DesignerCon in Pasadena, California, was enough to stop me cold in my tracks and yank me closer to examine the toys and art on display. There were lions (plushes, of course), cups, and stickers! Oh my!
The lion plush was Memo Me of Jupey's new line, Memo Me and the Great Hat Hunt, which debuted at the event. It was unbelievably cute and I loved that that Memo Me's mane (try saying that five times fast) was made of a different fabric than his body. All of it was so darn fluffy and soft. The other characters that joined Memo Me in adorning the stickers, stationary, and cups, were just as sweet-looking as the the little lion, with their big eyes and chibi bodies.
The bright, almost candy-coated, color scheme drew me in and I made me feel slightly nostalgic for childhood. It was a great booth to visit when I was feeling a tad tired from roaming the show floor. The sheer cuteness of Jupey's art had a revitalizing effect on me. It was almost like a sugar rush!
The plush of Memo Me the lion can be purchased, along with a bunch of Jupey's other wonderful creations, over at his online store.
