Dengeki Festival 2012: Banpresto photo

As you might have gathered from other posts today, another toy event is going on in Japan! This time, the event in question is Dengeki 20th Anniversary Festival. Banpresto had a display there and, while it only showed figures from three series, there is still plenty to be excited about.

The reveals I am most psyched for are those involving the Tales series of video games. Banpresto announced a ton of Ichiban Kuji figures along with a teaser for something extra special. Two of the Ichiban Kuji prizes were full proportioned figures of Xilia's Milla Maxwell and Vesperia's Yuri Lowell. There rest of the prize toy prototypes on display were Chibi Kyun-Chara figures of Vesperia's Yuri and Flynn, Graces' Asbel, and a fourth character that for the life of me I cannot recall. Banpresto also provided attendees with a teaser image of another set of Chibi Kyun-Chara prize figures, with the silhouettes of a short-haired Luke (Abyss), Elle (Xilia 2), and yet another Yuri. That guy is pretty dang popular.

From the world of the To Aru series of anime, we see a truckload of Chibi Kyun-Chara prize toys. No, seriously. I counted fourteen new figures. Yes, one-four. That is a whole lot of love for fans of that series.

And finally, Banpresto presented us with seven prize figures themed to the anime, Kyousogiga. Characters included in the preview included Hakase, Yase, Myoue, and several iterations of Koto (including the special version Kyun-Chara you see in the header). I'll admit I had no idea this anime existed but I totally dig the character designs.

See any figures you would want to add to your collection, Tomo-faithful?

Shizuoka Hobby Show: Roll out the re-colors edition
