DCC revs up its Arkham City Harley Quinn pre-orders photo

DC Collectibles' recently announced Batman: Arkham City Harley Quinn statue is now up for pre-order. The statue, which seems to be based on promotional artwork, stands 9.25-inches tall and is advertised as being hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain.

While I'm still not fond of the pose, I enjoy the amount of detail on the statue from the clothing creases to the intricate Joker tattoo on her exposed midriff. However, I can't help but notice that her hair is somewhat lacking when compared to the artworkin that it lacks real individual strands and I can't say that I'm a fan of the glossy-looking paint. I also would have preferred to see a Joker-themed (or Harley-themed) base although I can understand why they went with the Batman logo. Objections aside, DCC's Harley Quinn is a decent effort.

DCC's Harley Quinn has a US$125 list price and is slated for a December release.

Hot Toys' Joker mime has all the skills of a real mime

Jack Nicholson's Joker was enough of a creeper on his own. Put him in a mime outfit, and all bets are off. Indeed, a sociopathic clown and a mime aren't terribly different (in terms of looks, anyway). If you think about it, a...
