D-Arts classic Mega Man (Rockman) is a fighting robot photo

Thanks to The Mega Man Network (and AmiAmi JP), we now have some new photos of the upcoming Bandai's D-Arts classic Mega Man (Rockman) and Rush set (which also includes a Metall).

After multiple iterations of X and two versions of Zero (not to mention supporting cast members like Vile and Sigma), I'm overjoyed that Bandai is finally providing us with some classic characters and great looking ones at that. The Mega Man's mold somehow strikes me as being more visually appealing than the X's we've seen before (despite the basic similarities in character designs between classic and X). The one area I would be tempted to criticize are the boots and forearms/gauntlets which don't strike me as being large enough although that's really a small gripe.

I can't say that I'm as enthusiastic about the Rush although I suspect that he'll likely get a second face (one where his tongue isn't sticking out) which will be a better look for his Rush Jet mode. My only other complaint is that Rush doesn't seem to have much articulation although he seems to be able to do the essentials (ie, tucking in his limbs to make it look like the jet mode).

This set will likely release in December with a JPY¥3,780 MSRP. While I have yet to pick up any of the D-Arts Mega Man stuff, I expect that this one could very well be my first purchase in the line (unless I cave and buy version 2 Zero first).
