Dr. Slump is simply one of those mangas that you can't help but smile about. Popular in the early eighties, the story revolves around Dr. Slump and the female robot he creates, Arale Norimaki (whose name is a pun on a particular type of rice cracker popular in Japan). If you haven't read it, you ought to give it a spin -- considering the author also created Dragon Ball AND designed all the characters for the SNES RPG Chrono Trigger, I can promise you it's a damn good read.

Anyway, if you're already familiar with the wacky world of Dr. Slump, you already know who all the characters in this trading set are. Available through Hobby Search for $75 for a box of eight, they'll be coming out this May and will surely bring a colorful pop to your toy shelf.
