Custom LEGO piece mixes Transformers, Game Boy
Somewhere deep in my heart, there is a special place for the ol' gray brick that was the Game Boy. I've owned one (and the matching carrying case) since I was about 4 or 5 years old, and seeing this custom LEGO Transformer caught my attention. Made by Julius von Brunk and called Domaster and Tetrawing, it's a Game Boy that transforms into Soundwave, but instead of cassettes, he has game cartridges. And his batteries turn into weapons. WHY WAS THIS NEVER A REAL THING? For more photos and other creations by Julius, check out his work here. Now, if you really wanted to impress me further, do this with a DS or a Virtual Boy.
