Oh sure, you could go the easy route and buy a DIY Munny, Dunny, Qee, or Coin-Up. Or you could take a trip back to your childhood and do what comes naturally; pick up a toy and some crayons and commence to scribblin'!
Such is the case with Young, who took up pony and marker in hand and created a perfectly macabre custom. Thematically, it's perfect. With all the demented things we do to our toys in childhood (the haircuts, the cross-dressing, the aforementioned scribblin') it's only natural to return to that bestial mode once you've got a toy from those amoral days in your hand.
Thankfully, Hasbro has made it a little easier to give in to your destructive/constructive urges of old with a DIY My Little Pony. Honestly, this isn't something I'd ever be particularly excited about and I owe my current pony-urges to the disturbing vision of Mr. Young. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these and at $12 a pop I'm free to scribble to my heart's content.
