We've featured papercraft on a lot here on Tomopop, but I can't remember a time that we've posted cardboard-craft. By now, I believe most of us have seen the cardboard-box Gundam cosplayer or even Danboard, but this is what really should come to mind whenever you think of a cardboard robot. Featured on Cadeson's Twitter page is the creation of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam from Gundam SEED, made completely out of cardboard.
I cannot begin to fathom how long this took to complete, let alone the planning that went into it. It's amazing the amount of detail that went into this. The fingers are poseable and can hold the beam rifle. The side rail guns as well as those found in the wings unfortunately won't pop-out, but that still doesn't make this any less impressive, especially since the limbs all have articulation. Given that it's made out of cardboard, it still has more armor than a Leo! It's amazing what people can do with the materials that are laying around them.
