Cris Rose's new Avalanche custom vinyl is rusty, his painting skills are not

Cris Rose, I don't know what to do with you. Seriously, I can't go so much as a week without you releasing some custom vinyl piece that is absolutely stunning in some regard. I have only so much love and awe to go around, and you keep eating away at it, like with the newest custom piece revealed on your Twitter feed, Avalanche.

I mean, look at the detail on it. Not only does it look like a robot with all the little screws and bits Cris has attached to this custom Smash, but he's even painted rust on the pearly white robot to reflect that Avalanche works outdoors in the snow. Yes, that rust is painted on, not real, but it's a good enough of a paint job that I'm sure it's fooled plenty of people. It's easily his most realistic-looking vinyl robot to date, and looking at all his past work, that's quite an accomplishment.

This piece has already been sold to some lucky collector, but there will certainly be more amazing creations from Cris in the future. Seriously, if you are a fan of custom vinyl haven't bookmarked Cris' page and aren't following his Twitter, do it. Right now.
