Creep out your guests with Sideshow's DrenWhile not a cinematic masterpiece by any stretch, Splice was a decent science fiction movie that suffered from a misleading marketing campaign that did it a disservice. Instead of a creepy, Alien-like story of a mutated experiment hunting down it's makers, it was a tale about what happens when scientists let their experiments get a little too human. One of the best parts of the film was the creature design. Named Dren, the experiment had several different looks as it grew, and Sideshow has decided to make a polystone statue based off of Dren's newborn stage. Coming in at 11 inches tall and ten inches from tail to snout, this little creeper comes out October 2012 and will set you back $199.99. What do my fellow Tomopeeps think of Dren? Anybody else see Splice? No? Oh well, at least Dren looks neat, in that "going to eat your face at night" sort of way. [ Pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles ] Did you know?
