Crabby Bear plush available for pre-order at DesignerCon

Martin Hsu's second collab with Lana Crooks is a gentleman and a scholar.

Hide your Earl Grey tea and that antique gramophone! Martin Hsu's Crabby Bear is taking on the plush world, thanks to the masterful sewing skills of Lana "Plushinator" Crooks. The glorious news was announced today on the CRAKENS blog and, I must say, I am simply jumping with joy. Martin and Lana's previous collaboration, Puffer Puss, is still one of my most prized plushes. This new adorable monstrosity will be available to pre-order at Martin's booth at DesignerCon (#416) for US$85 plus shipping. While the edition size of the plush is 30 pieces, only 10 orders will be accepted at the event. Each of those 10 plushes will be hand-sewn by Lana and arrive before Christmas. For those who miss the 10 order cutoff, the rest of the pre-orders will be taken starting on November 11 and ship between late December and early January. Be sure to keep an eye on the official blog for the full release with more glorious photos!

Fans of Martin's other works will also find a lot to get excited about over at booth #416. The last 2 of the first run OG Dragon Boy vinyl toys will be for sale (a second run is planned for early December) as well as some really pretty posters and tees. Plus, if you missed out on Puffer Puss at last year's DesignerCon, the last 3 pieces will be at Martin's booth. I highly recommend picking one up.
