In the SOTA Vault is a Ryu Resin statue that is totally badass. That's what I'd want for sure. Not only did they only make 1000 of them, the remaining stock is on clearance. I wish I had $65 I could part with.

Id want the SDCC Nyarlethotep. Not only because Lovecraft and this figure are badass, but because I took the time to spell Nyarlethotep not once but twice. Cheers!

The SOTA Shadow Over Insmouth figure is my choice. I need it like Michael Bay needs to stop making movies.

My favorite is the talking plush of Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump because he's dreamy, and also because I'm not being serious.

That Sagat statue is gorgeous. Think that you can forget that I work here and give me some furry, electrical love anyway? Please?

I think overall this Ken Fighter figure takes it for me. Detail is rather nice and you get the extra flames to boot. Not a big fan or red so seeing a white versin with purpleish blue flames looks like a winner to me. Plus it'd help me feel good for not being able to obtain that Ibuki figure release earlier this year.

Oh man, that R Mika/Zangief 2pack is hella sick. Although I'm a massive fan of the Red Cyclone on his own, that SDCC 2pack looks insane. The muscular detailing on 'gief is wicked and I love that head sculpt. Plus I have a hard time imagining R Mika in any costume except the pink (Pink Cyclone anyone? >_>). Back when I was first playing SFII during the 90s I used to hate Zangief. Like every character in the damn game could throw stuff like fireballs and crap yet here was this big doofy looking guy who had no kick-ass specials yet he was still able to pound the crap out of me. I don't think I ever really got into the character until SF4 where I have to admit he is incredibly fun to play as. The silly chest hair on the the Zangief figure actually completes that figure, as he's pretty thug yet you can never quite take him seriously from the way the character is portrayed (although it was hilarious when he kicked the crap out of Ryu on that beach in SFII:V The Series and was just dragging him around). The Mika in the shot has one of the nicer looking female sculpts. For some reason, whenever I'm looking at a lot of the female SOTA figures it just doesn't do it for me but I don't know if it's how the costume really accents the general sculpt or it's just a great looking face (which you could totally see her making in game) but it's flipping cool. I know a lot of the people are also commenting on the statues, so I just have to say that the Sagat and Blanka look sick. The Sagat has amazing upper torso detailing (although the knees look funky) and that expression on his face highlights what a total bad-ass he is. And all of those bulging veins on Blanka's arms make him look crazy insane (you know, double insane). Plus I've got to appreciate that Blanka apparently has the same hobby as me-----yelling at the sky. But figure-wise, definitely that Zangief/R Mika SDCC 2pack.

Ultra Cthluhu Statue, it looks amazing and it's Cthluhu. Does anything else really need to be said?

The SOTA nightmare death resign statue is my favorite. it has a beautiful paint job and is really well crafted.
it's very disturbing and greatly designed.

I really like the way the Ken statue is designed, especially when I first saw it displayed at the Street Fighter IV launch party in Los Angeles. The flames are a really nice touch but, I really love Zangief. So I'll have to say that I'd really want to go with the 'Gief action figure. I mean, C'mon who doesn't love the Red Cyclone? Especially after I got this commissioned by a friend from RadNerd.com at an event

Ultra Cthluhu Statue having that in my living room would definitely top any coffee table books, plus you can see his tentacle junk

My favorite is the Ken Statue, despite the fact that he is looking more like a Square-Enix character, the art is well implemented! Good job.

The Dhalsim action figure. As much as I love E. Honda, I don't like the way his proportions are, and it makes him look a bit goofy, or at least more goofy than he already looks. I already have one of their Adon action figures, and Dhalsims figure just looks absolutely spot on. It looks exactly how you would picture it if you're a fan of the Street Fighter franchise, and I respect that.

My second choice, however, would be the Toxic Avenger action figure because, well, the Toxic Avenger is just awesome.

I really love the Death resin statue from SOTA Nightmares collection. The high quality craftsmanship and attention to detail and coloring is very impressive. It just looks so eerie and cool with Death standing covered in bandaged cloth showing off his decayed, horrific body as he holds up his black cloak as he is surrounded by a pool of vile intestines and tentacles.

This imaginative representation of Death from the biblical reference of the four horsemen is stunning and its pose feels powerful and fearsome.

The statue reminds me of one my poems that is based on the four horsemen called "Falling for the Reaper" with the following line: "Death has come on a steed shaped of decadence, A sight to behold, the pale horse of pestilence, and I was afraid."

Seriously... an Ultra Cthluhu or Death Resin statue?

Cthluhu is a given legend, but the design of Death has that wheelie motorcycle feel to it y'know? I mean it looks like he's getting ready to ride god knows where... While Cthluhu has the proverbial stable stance. The intricate design for both models are great.

But I guess I'll have to go with the Death Resin Statue because of it's more dramatic pose.

It just gives me a sense of "DYNAMIC" movement.

I'm pretty sure I need one of those Ultra Cthluhu statues, beause when I look into his eyes I can SEE FOREVER.

I doubt I'll get picked, but this contest worked to get me to create a account. I've been looking at this site for months now and I this is my first post. Anyway I would choose Blanka, not just because he is the biggest and baddest of the SOTA toys, or that he is the one your offering, but because I really REALLY love the character. Every since SF II was in the arcades Blanka was the best one to play with. He was/is unrestrained animal power. He was feral and could electrocute you, roll into a ball and whack you, and chomp on your head! The best thing was his crazy roar and dance when he won the fight, so, you know, I think I should win. :)

It's about time I created an account here, even though I can't afford to get most of the stuff that I drool over. As for the contest: that SOTA rendition of Johnny Cash: The Man in Black, is amazing. It's nice to see well-crafted musician figures. Too bad all of them are gone! :O All of the Street Fighter figures are great, too, but having Cash on the mantlepiece of my vinyl collection would be great.

For me it's quite easy, The San Diego Comic Con exclusive Dan. Why Dan? Well there are many reasons. First, he's the joke character and black sheep of the entire Street Fighter series. People who pick Dan in any SF game are saying, I'm so good I can win with this terrible fighter. If you have to fight against him as a computer opponent, he's a guaranteed win. I'd want him in my action figure collection so my other figures who aren't "fighters" like Jay and Silent Bob, Seth Green as Scott Evil, even professional wrestling jobber The Brooklyn Brawler can beat him up. Hell I could entertain myself for hours using him and Jabba The Hutt, twist Jabba's head, Dan falls down, repeat. Also, he's the cult icon of the Street Fighter series. Everyone, and I mean everyone knows he's just a joke. This is a guy who had a super taunt as a move in one game, he's flung autographed pictures of himself at people, he wears PINK. That's dedication, he a gigantic loser that's deluded into thinking he's awesome. I may be a fairly big nerd, but I'm comfortable with that. With Dan standing on my desk if I ever feel down, I can just look up to him and think "At least I'm not as big a loser as Dan." Finally, it's the perfect representation. He's got that smug look, he's got his thumbs up, and with such articulation I can make him taunt in so many ways. That's why I want Dan, though I would be more than happy with a Blanka Statue.

Believe it or not. The thing I want the most amongst all those toys is not a statue or anything. . . I want the Rainbow Mika figure the most. I love Rainbow Mika to death as she is my favorite Street Fighter character. :D

Dude, I really like that Blanka one, actually. I went and looked at all the other ones they offer and I think that Blanka one is the best. So much ferocity in him. The Ken and Akuma ones I feel just don't look quite as good as Blanka; not as detailed. Blanka has every line carved to perfection and is absolutely stunning. He's in his classic Street Fighter pose and they've modeled ever last bit of him exactly as you'd imagine it if he leaped right from the screen. Blanka is one of my favorite Street Fighter characters and used to be my main, so I would absolutely love to have one.

It's got to be the Sagat Resin Statue. Back in the day, Street Fighter 2 was the only game I could ever talk my Dad into playing. Normally he never stood a chance... but for some reason he played a mean Sagat. As competitive as I am, I couldn't help but be proud of my Father for showing a certain aptitude with video games.

Sagat would stand upon my mantle and glare into soul.

The Akuma Resin Statue is totally awesome/crazy. If I bought that, not only would I be in the presence of the greatest fighter of all time, it would also act as a repellent, scaring away pesky relatives, which results in more Modern Warfare 2 time for me =)

I'm really liking that Dhalsim action figure. The E. Honda is up there with it, and that new Akuma resin figure is great too, but there's something unique about that Dhalsim figure. The colors, the facial expression, it does justice to him very well. The only thing that could make it better is if it was a resin figure.

Brownie points aside, I seriously would pick the Cammy statues. She's always been my favourite Street FIghter and I always play as her in SFIV.

Ok I dont know if this will count because its not released yet. But my favorite Sota Toys figure has to be the adult swim Humping robot. Its a wind up robot that will hump anything you let it. i really into Street Fighters, that in my opinion the best fighting game ever. (except for the earlier Street Fighter 3d ). but most of all they are great characters and great game to play, even the pocket fighter.

The pose, the face, the size, the..everything just screams Akuma.

I'd been seriously in love with Cthulhu even before I can spell his name. The design is awesome is unique just like Alien figures. It'll be just awesome to place it beside my game console. Cthulhu statue will still look awesome to the people who didn't know about Lovecraft.

Cthulhu design is a timeless masterpiece and I just read this ad. recently and was thinking about Cthulhu a few minutes ago.

I really do want that Blanka statue. He has been my main since SFII and it was awesome to see him back in SFIV. Not much else besides that. I would probably get mini kid figures and have them hang off his arms and chest hair.

I would most like to have the Cammy double set. I've been a fan of her since she first came around the Street Fighter universe and like the character so much that I have a tattoo of the Udon photo of Cammy vs Hugo on me for life. The amount of detail is amazing in those statues.

My choice would definitely be the Ultra Cthulhu Statue. Look at those wings, the details on the tentacles, the claws, those creepy little eyes...Intense. Do you really think you could meet a life-size version of that thing and retain your sanity? I think not.

I would have to say the EVIL RYU statue in the SOTA Vault and such, primarily due to the fact that Ryu has been a mainstay and fan favorite since the beginning of Street Fighter, and the dark and evil twist is nice and refreshing, and very well done.

I would proly have to say Sagat merely due to the amount of detail put into the wraps, the epic deep looking scar and an expression.... and he's also the most bad ass character on street fighter...... well except for Blanka :3
