Composite ver Ka Temjin now available for preorder! photo

After the release of the Lancelot Albion and Gurren Lagann, the third product in the Composite Ver Ka line of figures has been revealed as Temjin from the video game Cyber Troopers: Virtual On (also known as Virtual On: Operation Moongate to some of its fans)!

The choice of Virtual On as the next series marks a slight departure from the general ver ka line as, instead of a mecha being redesigned to fit in more with the general style of Katoki Hajime, the mecha in Virtual On were originally designed by Katoki so expect few changes this time round, unlike Gurren Lagann for example.

There's also a certain retro feel to the release as the design is based off the MBV-04 design as opposed the more recent (and more popular) 707 design. What this means to non-fans is that they're using the very simple and basic design from the first virtual on game which was released in the arcades and Sega Saturn (remember that?) way back in 1996 as opposed to the later designs seen in Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram and Force, which the plamo kits from Hasegawa and Kotobukiya are based on!

Temjin should be released in October and is available to preorder at amiami, who are currently offering 26% off the full price if you order now.

Personally, I'm holding out for a Composite Ver Ka Cypher. It was always my favourite mecha in the series, even if I couldn't use it properly.

Legacy Comments

Give me this, and the other Mechas we've had composites of, as Mastergrade Gunpla, and I will buy them, when I can afford to. However, I'm less into models of Mecha I don't build myself.

By the way, why does it remind me so much of the Exia Gundam? I know this was around way before, but I swear I never noticed how similar they looked before...
