Colour images of Volks 1/4 Bayonetta finally appear!! photo

FINALLY!!! Volks have decided to give us colour shots of their 1/4 scale Bayonetta a week before Chara Hobby, where she will be for sale. We have had to wait quite a while for these shots and I have to say that Volks attempt at making a figure of the witch of Vigrid definitely beat Cerberus Project in this case.

My only reservation is with the face. The expression is appropriate and suits the pose very well, but the face itself doesn't look quite right. Having said that, it has grown on me the more I look at it. On the plus side, the insane level of detail on the kit is still very much present and she looks like she would be a very fun project for kit builders to undertake... If you can afford her.

Bayonetta will be available for purchase next weekend at Chara Hobby and, as with all 1/4 scale Volks resin kits, her pricetag is not something to laugh at! If you want one, be prepared to part with 46,000 yen for the privilege. Granted, it's not as bad as KOS-MOS but it's not far off. Being an event exclusive (for now) you will also need to contact a proxy to get one for you as well.

I'm seriously tempted, but there are also a few other items worth looking at as well. Volks have almost finalised their list of items for the event (it's more than just the gundam kits and Bayonetta) and we'll be sure to post them when volks have finished announcing them.

So what do people think? Best Bayonetta? Or do you prefer the Cerberus Project version? Is there a particular part you love or hate about this kit?

Eh...still prefer the Cerberus version..though her legs are looking nice and long here.
Not that it matters anyway. I'm poor.
I prefer this, but... Both of them being kits means I'm out of luck.
My, that is... nice. Not something I would invest in, I'm afraid, but... I could stare at it for quite some time.
VERY saucy. I love it. This one is much more faithfully proportioned than the Cerberus Project one. I can't afford (or paint) either version so I'll not be owning it.
I like the face. But wow, 1/4? Even if I was into kits, I can't imagine where I'd put such an enormous figure.
Someone needs to teach that girl how to blend eyeshadow together.
Gorgeous. Too bad I don't do kits or have enough money to affort it.
They never make 1/4 figs that I actually want. :(
I want to buy this figure just to take a huge fucking dump on it, and then rub my feces in all the crevasses and ridges. Then leave it to dry in the sunlight, attract flies, and it will be a perfect piece of art.
I for one thank everything that is good in the world for not making this a PVC. I would have not been able to resist and would've pre-ordered her, even in my penniless state.
I love Bayonneta, so I want this stupidly bad.
Bayonetta and Kamen Rider figures are the best! :D I already have several KR ones but every Bayonetta figures seem to be pretty expensive.
Her boobs do look pretty big. I mean, sure, in the game she's a huge fanservice character who has some testking 650-195 | testking 70-401 decently-sized boobs, but the ones on that statue seem like huge implant porn star boobs, which is testking 640-460 | testking 642-691 like one or two ranks about the boobs testking 352-001 | testking 70-433 she has in the game.
