Have you ever seen a figure with such a forlorn expression? Even her bear is blatantly depressed, and for good reason. Today seems to be the day for inappropriately named figures, as shortly after some thoroughly mediocre "Excellent Model" figures, the latest in CM's Corporation's "La Beaute" line appears with Kami-sama no Memo Chou's Alice.

Sadly, it doesn't take much to see this little loli is anything but a beauty. I was a pretty big fan of the series when it aired, and I'd love to see more products featuring this cutie, but not like this. The sad thing is, they do make an effort here! Her clothing is cute, and there's plenty of little touches like her bear, Dokupe can, and a pretty nifty looking PC with multiple screens.

But that face. Those dull, soulless eyes. I don't know. It just throws the whole thing off, even for me. If you're a real diehard fan, you'll be able to pick her up in December for around ¥12,000. Me, I'll be solving the mystery of why this even passed muster in the first place.
