Clayz shows off their upcoming 1/8 scale Shimei Ryomou of Ikkitousen [NSFW] photo

Clayz plans to introduce several new releases for 2010. One of their releases is the 1/8 scale Ryomou Shimei from Ikkitousen. Feels like it's been a while since I've talked about this series. That or it's just become a blur. Clayz has updated their blog showing a preview of the figure. How does their take on this overused character look?

I have to say that Clayz version of Ryomou is actually refreshing as they put their own spin on the character design. Wait. Am I warming up to Ikkitousen? Or did it finally break me? Either way,  I'm digging the very animated look of her face. And it appears she's a fan of popular idol Ranka Lee. Unfortunately the figure is ruined by her battle damaged clothes that she seems not too concerned about. Seems odd that the damage is only around her breasts. If that bothers you, you can cast it off and expose her breasts making her pose look more like an adult magazine shoot.

It makes me angry as this could have been a really great figure if it weren't for her torn clothing. Ryomou will retail for 7,560 yen. No word on a release date.

Cute, but I agree on the torn clothing. I hate it.
The figure is interesting in that it's an Ikki figure that I just didn't scroll past. Good face. I don't mind torn clothes, but the tearing looks bad.
I love all things Ryomou, I have 4 figures of her already and 1 on preorder, but I think Ill pass on this one. The face is cute, the clothes are kinda meh.
Isn't it weird how little things can turn you away from a figure? Like for me, torn clothes don't bother me at all, and this is one of the best Ryomous I have ever seen (why does she seem to get the only decent figures of the entire Ikkitousen cast?) But that stupid little appendectomy scar on Black Rock Shooter reduces my interest in that figure to about zero.
This bothers me only because it doesn't feel like ryomou. Am I that use to the eyepatch?
