Christie Monteiro ready for battle, shown off in a gallery photo

Christie has been met with quite a bit of discussion in Tomo history here, as fans have been a little divided about whether the figure is truly in the spirit of the character versus simply enjoying seeing her butt in the air. I am personally of the opinion that the figure is very attractive, one of the better sculpted Bishoujo figures I've seen with all that movement and musculature. She's barely covering anything (without looking un-tasteful), featuring some nifty shading with her tan and the use of clear PVC for the ends of her hair.

She looks fierce, just see for yourself! Check out the gallery, which is a selection from Akiba Hobby's sample and share your thoughts! As a side note, she's still available for pre-order (at ¥6,200 retail) and is due for release in January. Who is excited for her Bishoujo fighting debut?

I for one am super excited. This will be my first Bishoujo and hoping more from not just video games come out but more from the fighters. Would love to see his take on BlazBlue and Soul Caliber. My big one though which i know wont happen, but Street Fighter, would love to get a nice Sakura figure in this line.
Pre-ordered herand X-23 both a while ago, but looking forward to Christie the most of the two, despite not knowing the character at all. It's a beautiful sculpt with a great sense of movement and a lot of color.

The only Koto bishoujo I am on the fence about at this point is Liara...
She looks hot but I wouldn't trust the QA on Koto's Bishoujo line as far as I could throw them.

Ah gawd not this Liara drama over here too >_>

If you are on this site you should know the ENTIRE Bishoujo line is designed by Shunya Yamashita so they all carry his interpretations of each respective IP, I have no idea still why Bioware opened it up for discussion on facebook for all the drama it caused with all the "I hate animu" people weighing in.
