Before I explain to you how great these toys are, I have to explain that I harbor a level of obsession for the Japanese manga/anime series Chi's Sweet Home that borders on maniacal. So much so, in fact, that I was already planning on purchasing the raw box set of the complete series that is being released in Japan this year. Little did I know that Animate would unleash another one of their famous exclusives with it: the giant Chi plush you see above!
Retailing for ￥12,600 along with the full anime series, it's a pricey purchase, but well worth it if you are suffering from Chi fixation as I am. Of course, if you don't have that kind of green to shell out, there are other options as well. Each of the separate Chi DVDs comes with a cool pack-in, with everything from phone straps to cosmetic bags available. I wish I could own them all and smother myself in a giant pile of Chi merchandise!
