Chess Collection R: Hunter x Hunter set hits pre-ordersI won't pretend I'm any good at chess. I've tried to learn a bunch of times, but I'm just not any good at it. However, you don't have to be a chess player to appreciate the newest entry in the Chess Collection R series: Hunter x Hunter. I mean, these look just as good on a shelf as they do on a chess board. Highly detailed and meticulously painted, these can easily double as mini-busts. The only catch is that they're blind boxed in a set of six so it's possible you won't get a complete set of characters in a box and you certainly won't get enough to actually play a game. On the other hand you won't find the so-called chase gold figures in this series, instead each figure will come with either a black or white base which is fine for display I think. The assortment is as follows:
There is something to be said about the main character in the series being the pawn. Pre-orders are open now at the usual suspects with release in January so let the hunt begin!
