Checking in with the customs for The Super Suck Up photo

A while back, it was announced that The Super Suck Up was coming to DesignerCon, and that a number of artists would be lending their skills to customizing some Suckadelic figures. So, just about two months out from the show, where do they all stand? Some are only being teased, while others appear to be finished, and there's a fair amount of diversity in the designs!

In our gallery, you'll find the card art and additional shots of Sucklord and Suckpeg figures from: Ferg (who's doing a fellow named Zorcho the Burner); October Toys (one of the two Suckpegs, based on Silver Surfer); Luke Chueh (with a bear-headed Sucklord figure); Onell Design (doing a simpler colorway); Buff Monster (putting his ice cream monster's head on a Sucklord body); Paul Kaiju (with a kaiju-style paintjob on a Sucklord figure); and the two featured in the header, a Sucklord from DrilOne and a Princess Leia Suckpeg from Scott Tolleson

Meet Davidkraig at Kidrobot NY's May 18 customizing event

Want to come check out some live customizing and meet artist Davidkraig? If you're in New York City, you can do that on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. Eastern at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince St., SoHo, Manhattan).  As for what he'll be working on ... I'm not too sure. But you've seen his work before, and I assume he'll be sculpting out/painting something just as impressive for the event.
