Celebrate Final Fantasy's birthday with cake and chocobos
Quite possibly the most iconic Final Fantasy image of all time, everyone's favorite friendly yellow bird (Step aside, Sesame Street) has been one of the few series constants over the decades. Yeah, decades. For those of you who haven't been keeping track or are, god forbid, too young to remember anything before brooding white-haired pretty boys with giant swords, it's Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary this year. While it might be nicer to get some actual new games from the once-vaunted developer, at least you can celebrate with a Chocobo plushie, complete with a nice big 25th anniversary cake. It'll be available in August, and it's only around ¥2,020, so while you're crying over the lack of VersusXIII and Kingdom Hearts 3 at E3 this year, at least it won't be too painful to get your hands on something to hug in the meantime.
