SDCC 2014: Mezco

Mezco's booth once again featured a good deal of Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad collectibles, including a Gus Fring figure and a spoiler-y Gus Fring figure (so avoid the rest of that photo if you're planning on watching the...

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Kaiyodo's Mega Sofubi Advance

Did I just completely miss this whole arm of Kaiyodo's corpus? I'm always awed and amazed (sometimes not in the best way) by super-huge toys. In this case, I definitely got a good impression, though. As I turned the corner, I...

SDCC 2014: Kuso Vinyl

Kuso Vinyl brought an army of Minicels and Kusopons with them to SDCC. Three different event-exclusive Minicels (one of which was a Catchaman colorway that was only available on preview night) and three event-exclusive Luckit...

SDCC 2014: Sideshow Collectibles - Hot Toys

Hot Toys' 1/6-scale figures were featured at Sideshow's booth as usual. This year they had a couple of vehicles, some figures from The Dark Knight and Avengers, and lots of Iron Men. So many Iron Men. You should know the drill by now: hit the jump to see my impressions and favorites.

SDCC 2014: Sideshow Collectibles - statues and maquettes part 2

Continuing with Sideshow coverage, here's the rest of their licensed statues and maquettes. Star Wars characters featured heavily, as did Marvel. The booth also had a smattering of horror and other movie characters. Most of the experience is about simply gaping in awe at the larger scale figures (especially the legendary scale ones). Click through for the gallery!

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Marvel Bishoujo

Kotobukiya didn't have much in the way of Marvel Bishoujos on display at WonFes, but at least we had an even closer look at Marvel Bishoujo Jubilee... and her oddly pink cheeks and copious pink eyeliner. While there's a lot t...

SDCC 2014: Sideshow Collectibles - statues and maquettes part 1

If I could own an entire booth at this year's Comic Con, I think Sideshow's would be it. Their stuff appeals to the sci-fi, movie, and sexy women fan in my. Sorry anime fan Tian, you're not getting catered to here. "Vast" wou...

SDCC 2014: CS Moore Studio

CS Moore Studio and I share a common interest: well-endowed ladies. They had a sizable presence at SDCC, and were kind enough to show me around their booth (special thanks to the folks who held up the black backdrop while I was shooting). The number of statues and figures was truly dazzling, and that's before we even get to the giant Fathom statue up front. Hit the jump to see what their wares.

SDCC 2014: Kidrobot's Rocket Raccoon Labbit

Without a booth to call their own this year, Kidrobot scattered their releases across San Diego Comic Con. Frank Kozik's booth was home to one of them, the one that Kozik himself actually worked on: a new Rocket Raccoon Labbi...
