Castle Crashers' Necromancer figure a Kickstarter success

The Behemoth's colorful multiplayer game, Castle Crashers, has had its share of merchandise, but none quite so epic as their new Kickstarter project, the Necromancer. The Necromancer is so epic, in fact, that it was fully-funded on day one. Now with 12 days left on the project, it has garnered over US$20,000 with a goal of only US$5,000. I'd say that's pretty impressive!

The figure itself is quite impressive as well. At around 9 and half to 10 inches tall, the Necromancer looms over the original knight figures as one would expect from one of the more deadly character from the game. Other fun features include removable sword and wings. I also want to point out the base, with the skulls and bones of fallen adversaries strewn around the plumes of magic smoke.

While the figure will indeed make it to mass-production, backers will get the figure at a discount (provided they pledge US$50 or more). Once released, the Necromancer will cost US$60. Plus, you have the opportunity to earn a bunch of other cool items like t-shirts, belt buckles, and hoodies exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign. Check out the project to see all the other cool items (and their corresponding pledge levels) as well as a pretty nifty video.
