Casper from Deathsmiles takes a shot at a new color

Can you imagine Casper, Wendy, and the rest of the cast from Casper the Friendly Ghost gunning down swarms of enemies while dodging the onslaught of bullet hell? ... I think it would make for an interesting title. Either way, RC Berg is back again for a third time with Casper from the popular CAVE shooter Deathsmiles.

RC Berg will be releasing the 1/8 scale Casper New Color Version color resin cast for Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] opting for darker, more muted colors than her original release from early 2009. I admit I don't play shmups since I totally fail at them but what I can say is that what I see is a really amazing looking figure. The amount of tiny details is what fascinates me most about it from the laces in her boots, the design on her stockings, the dainty lace cuffs, and the various folds in her outfit. There's a lot to like in this figure. ...this figure that you will have to assemble and paint details the 68 parts yourself.

RC Berg's Casper New Color Version will be sold exclusively at Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] on February 12, 2012 for ¥14,700. Of course you'll need to find yourself a proxy service to lend a hand like Tokyo Hunter. ...unless you happen to be attending the event. And if you are, TAKE ME WITH YOU!
