Pedro posted about Urban Vinyl Daily's Blow Me art show inspired by old school gaming. It runs from September 8 through October 8, and once it's going the pieces will be showing up over at UVD's web store.

Carson Catlin got an email to us with pictures of his latest cuts do, a Yoshi figure (from Mario Bros.) which he cut up and repainted in a combination of black matte and gloss paints. Yoshi Noir will be going for US$350.00 when the show gets rolling, and it's huge at 9.5-inches tall.

Check out the gallery for some pictures and be sure to share your feedback in the comments section. I personally like how it turned out - the cuts designs are nice and the glossy finish on some parts is a great touch. The figure retains more than enough of its original shape to be distinguished as Yoshi, too. What do you think of this custom, Tomofolk?
