We've seen some of the Gundam goodness from Chara Hobby but that wasn't the only thing that was shown off at the event. Volks were there too and they had their own gundam stuff to show off, among other things. And it's the other things that we're going to look at now.
Firstly, we get a look at new Mortar Headd kits from the Five Star Stories, including a new version of the LED Mirage with flame unit! There's also a surprise collaboration for Oh my Goddess, with a model amateur plane kit from the NIT campus (the University which Keiichi went to).
But, of course, the biggest news was on the figure side of things, with a look at a new MoeKore figure of Amil from Shining Hearts. That's right, the one sister who DIDN'T get a Dollfie Dream gets her own MoeKore figure... Methinks she got shafted! Volks also show a bit of love to the traditional garage kit makers with a new kit but with precious little info on her. However, she does look like she's from Walkure Romanze but she's not one of the heroines, seeing as all four have already had kits released. Loving the Samurai armour look though!!
Anyway, there's also a new Charagumin kit of Miho from a new show called Girls and Panzer. I think you can guess what the show revolves around... It's more grounded than Strike Witches though. Girls actually drive tanks as opposed to becoming them afterall. Speaking of Charagumin, the two biggest bits of info are the colour images of T-ELOS and clear pics of Alicia Melchiott from Valkyria Chronicles!! T-ELOS is looking somewhat less interesting after getting coloured (and you know she won't look anything like that out of the box) but I'm all over Alicia!! Both should be available to purchase at Hobby Round 8 in October.
Is there anything else in the gallery which has caught your attention?
[Many thanks to Ramon McGlown of Tokyo Hunter for the photos]
