Buyer beware, more fake Lily Nendoroids on the market photo

Back in October of last year, Good Smile posted regarding some imitation Saber Lilys that hit the market a tad early. They shared with us a number of photos to help consumers with keen eyes spot the differences right away.

Well, it seems that Good Smile has once again taken it upon themselves to inform us of how to spot another fake Saber Lily, this time featuring their Nendoroid. While some of these differences may be a bit more subtle than the ones they found last time, they're fairly easy to spot if you know what you're looking for.

Remember, you're probably safe if you're making a purchase from a major retailer, but if you're at a convention, or anywhere else for that matter, it wouldn't hurt to be in the know. Besides, why take any chances you might regret? Check out the photos below, the fake ones are marked in blue.

Legacy Comments

While I do like posting about these ripoffs and comparisons, it's hard to know which one is the original if you haven't seen it before.
It's confusing that they use a red arrow with a blue caption and vice versa... The real problem is if you're buying online it can be impossible to know what you're getting until it actually arrives, as sellers could use photos of the real product. Even feedback is misleading, as many buyers have difficulty telling the difference unless they've consulted specific guides or have purchased a lot of other official product from the same company previously =x
Old news is old. This was discovered on Tsuki-board a few months ago.
It's obvious here as you can see the shiny look as opposed to the nice painting that's cleaner than the bootleg. Take a look at the hair and the skin the bootleg has a shinier look than the real thing. I really hate the bootlegs that cheat out people.
