Bob Conge is once again making my nightmares reality

Bob Conge! My arch nemesis and greatest ally at the very same time, the man responsible for about 90% of my current phobias, Bob Conge is back again with some new creations to show off. And as usual, they are a rare breed of frightening, taking things that you may initially find yourself drawn to and throwing them through a trans-dimensional portal to be squinched upon reconstitution with unearthly horrors. Simply put, Bob knows fascinating toys here.

His newest creatures are the strange baby-headed "Babe Argus" and the formless monster "Argoctopus", both to be shown at Toy Art Gallery's Alien Argus Custom Group Show this February 26 through March 26. The typical Conge flair is here in all its splendor with vibrant colors, tentacles coming from mouths, and the required LED lights so that the dark is forever a place where phantasms come out to play. I want no part of "Babe Argus", but "Argoctopus" I can get behind. It sort of reminds me of a character I'd see in Monster's Inc., until of course those lights go out and my life is snuffed away by some unseen-yet-glowing force.

So yes, Bob Conge is doing what he does best. Who out there wouldn't mind placing one of these two customs on their desk at night? I'd do it, but only because as Kennedy taught me, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself...and fear's name is Bob Conge."
