For this week, the topic is an Open Challenge.

Feels a little early for the end of month open challenge, but the next Friday is the last of the month, just barely.

As with every open challenge, feel free to share what you've photographed, and if so inclined, you can associate a topic with your submission.  We might use it in a future challenge :).

Last week's favorite: Menma and Shinobu

Remember that the #figurefriday event is more a way to just share figure photos than to actually fulfill a specific requirement, so if you cant participate in the challenge, fear not, just participate :)

For this week, the topic is Diversity.

Diversity is the spice of life.  Or in this case, diversity is all about Saber, mops, checkerboards, and cameras.  There's a plethora of ways to show diversity.  It could come as the differences in things otherwise similar, or similarities in things otherwise different.

Have fun!

For this week, the topic is Dust.

Dust is the mortal enemy of the figure photographer.  Though if done right, it can actually be used for the power of good.  For this challenge, we're probably going to be seeing a lot more of the disaster side of things than the successes.

Get ready to dust off your pre-retouched photos :)

Have fun!

For those who are attending Anime Expo (unfortunately I wont be one of them), Caloy Koy is issuing a challenge to Figure Photographers as part of this week's #figurefriday.

Basically the gist is to photograph your figures at these 5 locations and add then to the Figure Photography Community on Google+:

1. In front of the "AX Welcome sign" in South Hall
2. At the Good Smile Company booth
3. At the "Tea Room" Set of the Cosplay Photography Sets in Entertainment Hall
4. At the "The Garden" Set of the Cosplay Photography Sets in Entertainment Hall
5. On the Desk of the Chic Hearn's statue outside of the Staples Center

You can add them to the "Figure Events and Conventions" section and be sure to also add the #axchallenge tag so that we can differentiate them easier from the normal event photos.

Good luck, and any questions, comments and suggestions would probably be best to post to Caloy's original post: http://goo.gl/ObHPGH

Oh, he's also thinking about organizing a meetup, so feel free to bug him about the logistics of that too.

For this week, the topic is Hips.

Hips, some figures have them, others may not.  Leviathan has it in spades and is using it as a shelf for her tsukaima.

Have fun!

For this week, the topic is an Open Challenge.

The end of the month event deserves another open challenge.  Take your pictures or dig up something you were waiting to share and get to it.  Feel free to just post it or if you associate it with a topic, we may use it in a future challenge for everyone.
