For this week, the topic is an Skin Tone.

I could have gone with diversity, but for this challenge, I wanted to specifically have people explore the actual skin tone of figures. This is probably going to be a hard one for a few since the general majority of figures tend to have only a slight variance in skin tone, but I'm sure people will come up with something interesting.

Remember that the #figurefriday event is more a way to just share figure photos than to actually fulfill a specific requirement, so if you cant participate in the challenge, fear not, just participate :)

For this week, the topic is an Vivid Colors.

Vivid colors tend to take over a picture so finding a way to make it work can be interesting. Also, it may actually be hard to find something with vivid colors to photograph, so there could be an opportunity for some creative backgrounds or even some interesting color adjustments.

Have fun!

For this week, the topic is an Profile View.

Most figures are probably meant to be viewed head on, but a profile view can cut into that and give a different sense of perspective to a photograph. Since you can only see half the face, details and intention become even more apparent... or lost, depending on the quality of the figure.

For this week, the topic is an Open Challenge.

The focus of a photograph is often up to the photographer, the interpretation up to the viewer. Sometimes they're on the same page, sometimes they're not, but to each, there is meaning in every shot.

Feel free to show us some interesting topics for this week's Open Challenge.

Have fun!

For this week, the topic is Black.

Black, technically, isn't really a color, but the lack of color. However, it can still be interesting to see how well something black can be photographed. Color choices become even more attention grabbing with this one.

Have fun!
