Okay: so a few months back, I posted my whole collection, wondering if there was any interest in it. And there was! But I wasn't in a good position to sell. Stuff happened. The holidays. Saints Row: The Third (and I take my time with a Saints Row game because THEY'RE AWESOME.)

Now I'm back! And I've decided what I want to keep and what I'm willing to part with:

Holy crap, it's 1/4 scale! That's like, what, close to two feet tall? I had been interested in this figure--it's a silly, funny idea--but not sure I want it with this level of prominence.

Anybody else pick up one of these? I love the weird proportions, the ridiculous pose, the fairly realistic face. Plus: it arrived completely intact! I was worried after my last resin statue was broken in transit, but this spindly-looking thing arrived in perfect condition. Kaitendoh means quality!

So when my big Amiami order arrived I discovered that my Amane from Dream Club statue was broken--her left arm was snapped off. I took a few pictures of the damage and forwarded it to Amiami. Their response was to refund me the entire purchase price! And not even ask for a return (which is wonderful, since I think I can make Amane displayable with a little Mr Hobby.) Now this might possibly be due to the fact that I always use EMS so the package was insured. Still, the turnaround was fast, and I thought it was a classy move.

By the way, I suck at taking pictures so no pics from my last order yet. The Gift Reimu from Touhou Project is a very cute piece. But the Tony cat maid figures are just beautiful. So is Oui from Sangokushi Taisen--though it's a little difficult to balance that sword she's holding.
