Holy crap, did you see the Toy Fair Star Wars stuff yet?
About me

What is a Scarecroodle?
~It's a catchier and more memorable name than Scarecrow, which is generally taken anyway. Scarecrow, being a fear-related villain with a catchy costume, is probably one of my all-time favorite villains (just not the movie version).

Beyond that, I'm just an average white guy in the age 24~36 bracket.

What does a Scarecroodle like?
~I love fighting games, platformers, horror, and anime. I also collect a lot of Marvel/DC stuff, but most of that interest stems from the old cartoons/movies and the comic interest only came because I thought some of the figures looked insane. Figure-wise, I think the 6\" scale is probably the ideal size for figures. At that size they can make nice display pieces, sick detail, and joints that don't break (like in the crappy smaller scales).

I'm also a massive fan of the really small scales because it usually allows for a lot of incredible-looking scenery (check out stuff like Warhammer, etc). I would love to really get into sculpting, but I'm kinda clumsy which doesn't work well when things need to be exact.

I'd really like to get into statues (because the detailing and paint is usually good), but the pricing is more than a little daunting and you don't get as much variety out of them whereas figures can be posed into elaborate set-ups or whatever.

Following (1)

It has the little minis on display (don't so much care about) then some of the podracers already at retail (notably Sebulba's podracer is at retail but not Sebulba himself) and the Sith Interceptor which is also already in stores... you know, just skip ahead to like 3 minutes in because we're getting a MTT this year!

The MTT (Multi-Troop Transport) was by far my favorite vehicle introduced in Phantom Menace, an odd looking tank containing a slew of Battle Droids. The coolest part? This one COMES with a slew of Battle Droids! Twenty to be exact. I mean, wow, talk about army building!

Some of the other neat items on display include a (hopefully more articulate) Aayla Secura, Jar-Jar Binks in carbonite (yeah, probably about the only way you could shut him up), and an Emperor's Royal Guard (one of my fave character designs). I'm guessing Aayla and the Royal Guard will be in the increasingly overpriced Vintage line (up to $9+ at many retailers now) but there will be at least a few characters worth not waiting for the inevitable BOGOs and $7 sales.
